I've recently bought a Medion MNA175 with Medion Navigator 5 installed on it and have a few questions that I can't seem to get answers for anywhere else.
What is the Activesync supposed to synchronise with?? I immediately thought that it would synchronise with my Outlook contacts and copy the addresses across, which I thought would be brilliant, but no! Activesync pops up and says synchronised, but nothing changes. Is this supposed to be used just for file transfer between the PC and device?
As I have mentioned, I have Medion Navigator 5 and looking at this forum it appears that people are having trouble finding version 5.1 in English to upgrade? I would like to get the POI Warner software for the speed camera database if it is at all possible.
Also, some of my maps are out of date, does anyone know if Medion are planning to release updates, or is there anywhere I can download them and install them myself?
Thanks for anyone's help in advance. |

Hi
I have a medion PNA175,i bought it 2 weeks ago and it came with 4.4 version.
My mate had 5.1 on his medion and kindly gave me a copy and i installed, after installing and doing a few tweeks here and there the pna works a treat,i've also installed poi-warner successfully with no probs.
Oh and yes the 5.1 version i have is in english. |

Active Sync won't syncronise anything because there is nothing on the PNA175 to sychronise with unless you install it yourself. The out-of-the box PNA175 is simple a handheld device running WinCE as its OS and supplied with satnav software.
ActiveSync is only there so that you can connect it to a PC to copy over anything else that you want and to be able to reinstall the navigation software from the supplied CDs.
