I have a Holux receiver with MMX plug on, can I cut it off and put a RJ11 plug on it and use it with Tomtom? if so is it just 2 wires? Thanks :D |

Peter, I would not recomend doing this, the RJ11 connector needs special tools for a secure connection to be made, there will be more than two wires, and you would need to know the exact colour code/ pin location for each wire. It will also invalidate any remaining waranty, sorry to sound so negative, but one idea, try a phone call to Holux and see if they do and addaptor cable (they will know the pin outs) - Mike |

Peter, just to put it back on track I have moved the "hijack" to where it should have been, the topic for Pocket PC powered phones - Mike |
