TOM TOM 5 ON NEW XDA MINI !!!

I had tom tom mobile 5 working on my Nokia 7710 and have just upgraded to a new XDA Mini s.

I contacted Tom Tom who advised me to copy the original files to the new mmc card then upgrade using 5.21 from their site.

I did this but after about 10 times of re-writing to the card I could not even see it on the new xda !!

So I did not know if there was a certain file I had to click on to enable me to install it correctly ?

Anyway after much file swapping etc I now have the Tom Tom logo on my desktop and when i click on it I enter the setup and activate screens.
I click on language,voice,units, etc and arrive at the device code screen, I then click on activate and insert the activation code that Tom Tom have just given me today but all I get is 'Sorry, this is not the correct activation code for the product 'Great Britain'.

I have emailed Tom Tom but no response as yet, does anyone know what is happening when it was originally working on my other phone and Tom Tom has given me the activation code ?????

Ian, you will need to get a second activation code from TomToms web site, the code you are using is tied specifically to the previous hardware, so the old code will not work, you are allowed a second activation seven days after the first, then after six months has elapsed - Mike
