Is any one else having problems with these 2 units?
Mine some times refuses to see the gps unit, without doing a Bluetooth rescan, or the gps receiver can not pickup satellites in the car
(never bee able to pickup signals whilst carring it around). Would a external attenna help, if so where can, I purchase one from?
Best wishes to you all

I can't comment on your particular bluetooth reciever as I don't have one myself but I found that with my Nokia BT reciever, it sometimes needs to be turned on for a few minutes, preferably whilst stationary, in order to find the satellites before you connect it to the phone.
An external antenna won't do any harm but have you tried putting the reciever by the rear windscreen as many modern cars have special coatings that can interfere with GPS signals.

I will try that, one of the problems is seeing the bluetooth receiver, the phone keeps asking to accept the conection request.
My old Nokia 6600 was much better then 6680
by the way H A P P Y N E W Y E A R to one and all. |

I have a 6680 and BT GPS and I find it a really fickle set up.
Sometimes they connect perfectly first time, sometimes it asks for the code but more often it does'nt and sometimes I have to switch one or both off a few times before they connect. I've never been able to find out what causes these anomalies ! |
