Having run Tomtom on a PDA for some time (started with TT2 then 3) I am dissapointed to discover that I do not have the facility to enter a GPS position as a destination on TT5, have contacted TT who say that the feature is not available on TT5, does anybody know if there is a hack available that will enable me to activate this feature (it is greyed out on the menu) but lights up on advance planning, but will only record your present position.
Right, lets start again, does anybody know how I can enter "GPS Co-ordinates" as a destination in TT5, as previously stated this feature was available in both TT2 & TT3, but is greyed out in TT5.
You can use the Itinerary and a notepad to emulate the "go to coordinates" feature.
I do not understand, I use itinerary planning on a regular basis, but cannot see how to enter co-ordinates, please elaborate

Hi Russ,
If you don't want to wade through three pages of old posts, and particularly if you want to use OSGB coordinates, then go straight to Barry's great application (do not pass Go, do not collect £200 ) .
Problem solved, I live in Spain, so have two sets of maps on my MIO 168, UK and Iberia and Portugal, I had set the path to the map for UK, when I reset the path to the Iberia map it works just fine, will have to reset the path whenever I go to UK.
I experienced the error that Barry mentions, but cleared it by closing Tomtom and restarting.
