CP 6 supports WM2005, TT5 does not. I can't say for other packages. _________________ Regards BigH |

What I should have said is that TT5 does not officially support WM5 so if you have problems you are unlikely to get support from TT. _________________ Regards BigH |

FYI for all, Destinator and Navman are NOT compatible with WM5.
Navman informs me that they "may" have an update for WM5 mid next year.
Destinator informs me they are unsure what they will do ie they may decide to release an update or they may decide to release a patch
Hey DataMan, could you tell me where i can buy tomtom 5.21, do you know if Australian maps are available on it?

you can download 5.21 from the TomTom website. You can buy the maps from there too. _________________ Lutz

WHOA,
I am not sure what is happening on Mobile 5 with Upgraded Dell Axim 50v
I am on mky 10th attempt now to even install CPL6, i finally went on Microsofts sitew and fopund the troubleshooting tips for Active Syunc 4.0....I am on 4.1.
Anyhow, EVERY install takes forever, this is the first time adfter allowing 4 different Apps through firewall that it actually transfered the cab files but it is taking foreer to install.
I think we may need to discuss WM5 all together |

Another MAJOR drawback on WM5 is the horrible BT setup.
I was able to use the BT GPS from ALK with IGuidance, this is no longer the case on WM5.
Either I am totally corrupted here or i dont know what is going on.
Does anybody else have the BT GPS working within other apps ? |
