hi guys and gals ,,, wish you all a merry christmas first ,... well i have a cpit - gps reciever like the one pictured here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5844649700&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_ReBay_Pr4_PcY_BID_IT
i have read the forums but i still cannot get my gps to recieve. i can pair up my nokia 6680 running tomtom 5 to connect but it seems like the gps will not recieve a signal. right ok lights .. i got a red light the stays on all the time . a blue one that flashes fast but then flashes at a medium speed .. and then a green that stays flashing at a medium speed .. i have tried leaving the reciever and phone outside paired up for a few hours but still no success... if anyone in the cyber world who could possibly help me i would much appreciate it... yet again merry christmas to you all ..... |

i have the same receiver
go to your telephone turn bluetooth off and also delete the pairing of the receiver.
go outside turn the receiver on the blue light should flash very fast that means it is not paired up to anything.
switch tomtom on it mat auto find it ,if not go to change prefereces on the tomtom then show gps status, configure it to OTHER BLUTOOTH DEVICES, then it will detect it.
if still having probs i will try to help |

have done what i said to change the sttings on the tomtom saoftware to other gps otherwise it will be set to tomtom gps which your receiver is not and also make sore you are outside when you use it .when you do first use it it can take a very long time to first pick up the signal but after that fist time it should only take a minute to pick up |

A friend of mine purchased a receiver of ebay, took nearly 3 hours for it to pick up the first signal, fine after that. He had to keep turning it back on every so often though because of the auto power off. Just keep trying. |
