Hi ya all, is there a way of getting the speed camara thingy on my mio 269 ? is there a free way or do i have to pay (dont mind either)
Any help is appreciated.

Clint, Welcome along - try the detailed instructions on here http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php scroll down and download the database, the charge is not applicable as yet.
You don't specify the software you are using so I can't give you much more than this - Merry Christmas - Mike |

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply im using the standard software i guess, the one it came with, i have upgraded it to version 2 if that helps you ?

I am currently working on getting the 268/269 POI warning software instructions written and a special release made available for these devices.

There is an program that can be purchased from HERE
You can then use the currently FREE Safety Camera files from this web site.

It is not software being written it is instructions on how to load the database onto the devices and update it as required.
This will be available early in the new year.

Hi Mike, so whatever happens i need to purchase poiwarner so i can download speedcamaras yes ?
Im tight and if i can get it free i will  .
