I have create PoI files in many different formats with lat, long and title. Is there anyway I can add more details like a URL to link to or a link to a text file?
Thanks

You can add details to the title I believe if your target platform is TomTom, not sure about others.
You can do it by including a > symbol in the description, I beleive this functionality was intended for the inclusion of details like phone numbers.
For example
-1.995172,52.608796,"My Gran's house > 0208-1234567"
though I have never tried adding anything like a text link. _________________ Apologies to all my supporting users, the http://ukpostcodes.boldlygoingnowhere.org/ postcode converter has now been retired.
The ubiquity of full postcode lookups has made it somewhat redundant. I still have the code if anyone needs it. |

Thanks.
Is there any other way I can do this? Has anyone seen software that allows you to do this? Or can I write something - possibly with TomTom SDK but ideally I would like the software to be multi-platform.
Thanks

You can convert between some POI Formats with POIConverter. This will alow you to convert to a text file, which you can then convert back to your POI Format.
Get it here. _________________ Richard
