|

Sorry if this has been discussed before - looking to get an i3 tomorrow. Much of the info I have read refers to a 128Mb Micro SD card with a CD/DVD to load the maps from. I have one reserved for collection from Argos. This however seems to come with a 256Mb Micro SD with GB and NI pre-loaded?
Does this mean this is the latest version?
I have seen discussion about v8 maps, but not sure what the additional features are (though implication from other posts is that there is not much).
Any help much appreciated - help get the Christmas present purchased - running out of time. |

Thanks for info - guess I will get it and worry about v8 maps as when. v7 maps must be better than having no GPS. |

I assume that with the 256Mb card and GB and NI loaded there is still enough space upload your own POI's? |

Why not cancel the Argos reservation and go to Kwiksave and Woolies at £149.99 o Halfords on a pricematch where you can see for yourself whether it is the latest mapping or not, just look at the bottom of the box and if there is v8 next to the barcode that means it is the latest one. You can not do that at Argos because you pay for it before it rolls out the warehouse!.........it's up to you. _________________ I know you believe you understood what you think I said but I am not

Thanks for tip. Decided not to go to Argos anyway since they were £30 more expensive than Kwiksave. A call to the local Kwiksave confirmed they did indeed have the i3 for £149, and it was a v8 - i3 purchased!!
Thanks for everyones help on this. Just have to wait for Chistmas Day to open and enoy. |
