Does anyone know if it's possible to get hold of and load maps for the US (actually I only need Washingon, Oregon and California) onto a UK TT GO 700, and if so how and how much?
Thanks

Yes you can. There is just enough room to copy the US map onto the 700.
To be on the safe side you may want to remove the foreign voices you don't use.
To be doubly safe, make a FULL backup of the hard disc on the 700 before you start any changes.
You can download a map of the US either in full or in bits from TomTom

Correction.
You can only download the US in bits.
If you want it all you have to buy an SD card with the US map on it and copy that to your GO via a card reader and your PC. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Many thanks for the help, sgould. I see that the Western US is available as a chunk which will suit my purposes just fine, and be worth the €60 it costs to me. |
