|
|
Hi All,
I have a Medion MD95900 running Medion Navigator 4.75. I`ve just purchased version 5.01 - does anyone know how easy it is to upgrade the software?
Do I run it on my main PC and let it transfer to the MD95900 and over wright the old files, do I uninstall the old one first or do I copy the new software onto the memory card of the card?
Any help apprechiated,
Thanks,
Keith |

You should have the instructions on how to install the new software, often they are on the disk in a PDF file ?.
I would have thought that you would need to uninstall the old one first. |

The instructions are normaly found in a PDF file or in a Readme file. Absent that, I would put the disk in the drive and allow it to automatically boot. It will normally identify a previous edition of similar software and delete what is not needed and overwrite old software. If that doesn't work, just add the new software as a new file on your PC. You then follow the instructions to download to your Pocket PC. Now, a question. I live in the U.S. and Medion USA has not received the upgrades to the4.3 version. Can you tell me where you purchased your upgrade? Website would be great. Thanks, and good luck. |

Thanks for the above - I`ll give it a go.
I purchased the upgrade DVD from Ebay.co.uk - people in Germany etc are selling them. It worked out around £25 (in PayPal it was in Euros).
You can also download the DVD from certain file sharing websites but it`s just over 4GB..... |
