I have just set one of these up for a relative.
Seems fine, I can't find too much to complain about but I'll have a go :-)

So far I haven't played at all with pictures and music. The supplied 1G SD card is full of maps so there's no way of playing music without swapping the card.

The map display is almost monochrome but POI information stands out much more clearly in colour than for example TomTom where everything is coloured.

There's a nice arrow in the bottom right of the map which scrolls out an L shaped bar containing various icons like 2d/3d selection and day/night colours.

Choosing a destination by postcode or address was fine. Doing it by scrolling a map wasn't, because I find that when i try to manually scroll around the map, it often thinks I'm trying to get into a menu, which is irritating.

The internal speaker was loud enough but very shrill - it hurt my ears. I found that sticking some tape over the speaker grille (on the back) makes it much better. There is a volume control in the menu.

When I set 12 hour clock, there wasn't room to display it with the am/pm so the first number gets an icon on top of it! I went back to 24 hour - no problem.

The mounting kit is the usual suction cup & sticker for either windscreen or dash use. There's a mains charger and batteries in the box too but nothing to keep it in when it's out of the car.
Also in the box, USB cable and DVD. You'll probably only want the dvd for the instruction manual. If you need to load other maps, you can do it either via activesync or just stick the sd card in a reader - the latter is probably quicker.

If there's anything specific you want me to try, ask away.
