According to the website manual, checkpoint is supposed to have an additional tab which will display average speed readings and provide voice alerts for section or SPECS camera's.
I have never seen this tab in checkpoint, does anybody know if it actualy exists and if so how do you activate it?
According to the web manual it is in both checkpoint 3 and 5, however its version 3 I am interested in.
Thanks |

I'm also looking for the section camera settings - I didn't notice them in version 3, but have now upgraded to v5 of CheckPOInt and still can't find where you set the section camera settings to monitor average speed.... |

Hi s3dbw and Sniffer,
Which camera database are you using with CheckPOInt 5.0.2?
Are you using the PocketGPSWorld or the POIplace camera database?
I have never used the POIplace camera database, but I think that it uses additional encrypted information that CheckPOInt 5.0.2 is able to interpret which allow you to have average times in SPEC/section controlled zones displayed in CheckPOInt.

Hi
I'm using the PocketGPSWorld camera database - works fine on notification of speed cameras for all types but just doesn't do the average speed thing.
Does that help with diagnosis ?
Thanks |

If you mean what I think you mean, yes. You can rename the files to what you like as long as you leave the ov2 extension and use the same name for the bmp file. _________________ Richard

If you rename them, will that allow CHeckPOInt to recognise them as 'proper' SPECS cameras and let you know the average speed ? |
