Whenever I look at the forum, and go into a topic that I've not read, when I go back to the list of topics again, all the topics appear as though I've read them, without the different coloured notification thingy.
Anyone else get this? |

Doesn't work like that for me. I use the 'Back' button and no threads I've visited show as 'Read' until I hit the 'Refresh' button. Even after Refreshing, threads I haven't visited remain 'Unread'. _________________ Tim |

Yes same problem here, regardless of how I return to main streetpilot index.
Best regards

I read a thread and then use the back button. As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, that returns me to the main streetpilot header page with all threads that were originally flagged as 'to be read' still flagged as 'to be read'. If I lose track of where I am I just hit refresh which will then update the page and unflag those threads I've read. |

Those with problems, are you using PocketGPSWorld.com, or pocketgpsworld.com? .com is the one to use. _________________ Tim |

Firefox rules. I dont know why anyone uses IE anymore, viruses, bugs etc.
Iam not anti Microsoft as I preffered IE to the old Mozilla. But Firefox is a big improvement on Mozilla. It concentrates on what you want it to be, a browser.
Block Pop-up ads, delete history/cookies etc on exit (for those with something to hide :D ) tabbed browsing, open source.
But best of all, when you mistype a web address, you get a simple message saying check what you you typed or retry instead of getting redirected to search engines that when you press back has lost the info in the address bar. |

Hmm now where's my soap box
Without any intervention on my part or any change in browsers the problem no longer exist, I suspect maybe it was i bug that has been corrected by forum staff?
Best regards

Ofcourse, you could always right click and open in new window.
That way you keep a track of every post including the ones you want to read. Ie. I scroll through the list opening as I go and then when I choose to update to the second page I read the pages I just opened in different windows.

or, in firefox just middle-click to open in a new tab - much quicker than a right-click menu ;) |
