Looking at getting a 51V and wondering about an in car mount. I favour Brodit but they only do a passive jobby for this device. Views/experiences on the 51V loudspeaker's suitability for GPS voice directions would be much appreciated. Is an amplified mount necessary or desirable? |

I have just purchased the TomTom mount for my 50V from PDAMods and it is very good, with alternative mounting options too.
I find the 50V is loud enough (I'm using TomTom navigator) to hear even when whipping up the Motorway. I think that the TomTom application is a fair bit louder than, for example, music coming through the 50V speaker.
