from conversations I've had with people in the know the different types of weight limit is too much for the routing of a program to take in to account and at present noone will take resposibility for the database as usualy throw up weight limits at the drop of hat so the databse would change to often for anyone to keep and accurate one up to date _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. the thing is, when i drove down to swansea from north wales, it took me down lots of narrow country lanes which i don't like to do, is there any way, when planning my route that i can get my tom tom 300 to avoid these sorts of roads?
thanks |

Another complication with weight limits, is that (unlike low bridges) they do not have to be fixed, or have a physical reason (ie the bridge won't take it), they are sometimes just used to restrict heavy traffic, and (even more difficult for a sat nav to cater for) may only apply during certain times of the day/week |
