GPS in a People Carrier

I am investigating the purchase of a GPS system for use in our Seat Alhambra (same as Galaxy & Sharan) and am interested as to how people have fiitted them as the windscreen is a long way from the driver.

Do people use a vent bracket and how is reception with regard to the heated windscreen.

Looking forward to meeting all those at Basingstoke.

Some report it works well affixed to the drivers side light window.

Hi have a Sharan, and use the Brodit mount on the passenger side of the stereo, it is extremely secure and give a great view of the GPS unit.

I have a Mio 168 with Co-pilot

Andy, how is your reception with the Mio 168? Do you need an aerial extention?
