the only problem, in my opinion, with having a mobile or other contact number on the unit's splash screen is the length of time it is displayed for. it only shows for about 2 or 3 seconds and unless you know to look for a phone number then you aint gonna catch it!

How about a short massage that just pops up for 2-3 seconds.
