On the last page of Change Preferences there is a Reset Factory Defaults icon. I don't know if this will clear all the details, or not.
To get rid of recent destinations, just delete the .cfg file in the Map Folder. _________________ Richard

It also depends how paranoid the friend is, deleting things will be fine for the casual new user but not for someone who actually wanted to look for iold phone numbers and destinations, because the data will still be there on the memory card, just not visible (until its overwritten).
If he wants to see it *really* gone he'll have to put the SD card in a reader or connect it to his PC and run an 'eraser' program on it. Or just delete the files, then fill up the card with some files of junk data, then delete those files again. Either would do..but only necessary for the paranoid :-)

And he does realise that his all singing all dancing factory fit £2000+ BMW Nav System won't have Safety Cameras, may not have 7 Digit Postcodes and more besides? _________________ Darren Griffin |
