Hi Guys, I have an Ipaq 2210, its been on a hard wired GPS receiver for ages and works like a charm, I thought i would get a wireless receiver so the misses could use it in her car as well..
Its a BT 77 wireless receiver, i have followed all the set up instructions and I get the ipaq to connect up, however i cannot seem to get it to be seen by the TOM TOM 5 software, it just says no GPS device, also the connection between the ipaq ans the BT77 only last for 2 mins and 20 seconds and then cuts out.
Ive tried a hard reset on the Ipaq and a fresh install of TOM TOM 5, still no go..
Can anyone give me a pointer please on what to do, or if ive missed something out.
TIA
John |

Jonney, go to prefferances, GPS set-up and select the Other wired NMEA devices option, set the correct Baud speed and finally select the applicable bluetooth port on the last screen, then make sure the set-up has a clean line of sight to the sky and wait, it can take upto 30 min for the sat nav to lock on to the info it requires - Mike |

The normal speeds that work are either 4800 or 9600, if you need to know the figure that is applicable to your device try the manufacturers web site it should be listed - Hope its all working now - Mike |
