Thanks :D |
I have all the cameras in separate POI's according to speed. I also have it set to a quarter mile. I'd rather have too much warning than not enough. |
Is that gatso 30mph / mobile 30mph etc... OR Gatso and mobile 30mph in the same document?? IE you have done some copy and pasting to make your own file.
Thanks _________________ Noonster

Thanks | When you unzip the downloaded file, you need to simply save each file the way it comes. You want the gatso's separate from the mobiles or the icons won't be different.
By the way, all those Pizza Hut, KFC, Maccas, etc.....you need to look at your diet!! |

Also mine wont let me input how much distance... it will only let me have:
- 150
- 300
- 600
- 1500
- 2640
- 5280
^^^ thats all in Imperial (feet/foot)
Thought I would be able to input any figure i wanted??
- Makes it harder for me to set warnings for each speed of camera now
Any ideas ?? _________________ Noonster

Works well for me as it allows for any errors in the position of the cameras to where they've been put on the unit. |

A Sat Nav POI newbie here so be kind in your replies!
Is it possible to use postcodes rather than lat/long when uploading POI's?
If not any one know of any postcode/lat long batch conversion software?

I found with the mobile cameras set to 1500 feet (because of the long range of the mobile cameras), whilst in a city where there are many mobile sites not too far apart, the Navman was giving alarms almost continuously and locked up on several occasions!! I have now reduced this distance and no lock-ups now.
Has anyone any idea why with 23 POI files a couple cannot be made active on my 1MB SD card, whereas I know they (specs and temp) work ok if those two only are loaded on the original card without all the other 21 POI's. Could it be the total file size of the 23 files is too large on the 1MB card? I have tried re-loading the specs and temp files a few times on the 1MB card with no sucess, or I should say they can be seen, but no visual and sound warning. The cannot be made active in the Navman menu. |
