Darren don't worry too much - the law is the same no matter who you buy it from. The one advantage with a shop is that if it goes wrong you can go round there and be a real pain in the a**e until they sort it out.

My main complaint about PC world, etc is that the assistants don't know the first thing about what they sell - advice can be at best useless and at worse downright dangerous.

Thats good that its the same... been worried about it, thinking sh*t hope this doesnt go wrong Sad - Yeah I agree I like the idea of being able to go to the shop and "talk" to them if something goes wrong, however saying that I do normally buy products online... just this I needed ASAP as going away and couldnt risk not getting it on time and/or it not working when recieved and having no chance to change it.

Would DEFO agree with that... at Dixons the guy didnt even know they had an offer on with it, and then tried to charge me £10 more :x - Oh well got there in the end AND as normal got the normal "do you want insurance..." Laughing
