I have installed Medion Software on a Navman PIN 570, I cannot get the gps to work i have set 9600 com 8 "GPS on Navigator" but this does not work can anyone help? TomTom 5 works fine on the above com port settings but medion does not!! |

I dont think that it should be com 8 that you are using, what other ports do you get? _________________ Regards

Where did you get the Medion Software from? Some Medion software is locked to the receiver that it came with.
I daren't ask why you are trying to run TomTom on a Navman let alone Medion! _________________ Darren Griffin |

it seems to be common now that people are buying Navman/Medions etc and installing 3rd party software onto them like TomTom. _________________ Regards

i have had a few people wanting to run tomtom on their new Navman PIn 570, i feel that it must be due to the volume of dodgy copies of tomtom 5 going about on ebay and people are wanting to try somthing else. _________________ Regards

its personal preference which software we use on our devices, I do not like the Navman software as it is not as straightforward as the other software. |

It is definately COM 8 9600 as this setting works on TomTom and on the Navman Software that came with the device |
