hi all
i recently dwnloaded the speed camera database and and the spoken alerts.i followed the instructions but have found that when i come upto a speed camera it gives me the wrong speed. how do i set it up so that all the different speed cameras corespond to the right voice.

You have to do it manually got to
Change preferences
manage poi
warn when near poi
pick the camers then the right sound for it then
hope this helps |

yes i have done all this but i get the wrong speed warnings.i dwn loaded this file and loaded it onto the ttg300

Beep 2 Gatso 30
Beep 3 Gatso 40
Beep 4 Gatso 50
Beep 5 Gatso 60
Bell 1 Mobile
Bell 2 Mobile 30
Bell 3 Mobile 40
Boing Mobile 50
Bugle Mobile 60
Cow Mobile 70
Cuckoo Red Light
Polite 1 Specs
Polite 2 Temporary
Polite 3 Credits
theres only 5 speed camra files gatso mobile specs temp redlight ive enabled them on the ttg300 and warning sign. does this make sence

If you're only using 5 camera files, then the full speed warnings are of no use to you.
Just use the Gatso, Mobile, Specs, Temporary and Redlight Warnings. _________________ Richard

If you want the speed realted warnings then load up the "speed zoned" gatso and Mobile cams, the Specs are speed zoned but that will take you past the 15 individual warnings limit (you can overcome this via ray flanigans site - there is an extended POI warner software package on there) - if you do load the speed zoned cams delete the other OV2 and BMP files that you have loaded up as they will cause double warnings and consume processor real estate - keep the Red light, and Temp cameras as these are needed (not speed zoned - unless anyone knows different) - Mike |
