POI Limit???

Hi, this is my first post so first i wanna say hi to everyone! =)
My first question is that i have tried putting some new poi's on my tom tom 300. for some reason after i inputted 26 poi files, most of which are for the speed cameras, totalling 342kb, no other poi's would show up.
can anyone tell me if there is a limit on the number of poi files that can be included on the tom tom 300 or if i have done something wrong?

ps also when i change the data.chk file, it never seems to complete the transaction, what i mean is it's as if the whole file doesn't copy across acording to the status bar within windows. all of the voices do seem ok though apart from a couple seem missing and one plays a bell sound followed by "mobile"

Limit is 27 PoI of your own. (Whether enabled or not).

Full set of speed zoned cameras needs 18 of these.........

Have you filled the card up? There's not much room spare on an original 128 card. It needs a least 2MB spare for temporary files. If you have less the GO might crash and the card could be corrupted if it runs out of space when calculating a long route.

Have you made a FULL backup of the card, in case of accident?
