Managed to have downloaded September 05 speed camera data base ..... perfect :D
Thought, I'll keep up with the Jones and wont be out done because I'm becoming a bit of an expert with these sat-nav gizmo’s .... so thought I'd download Oct 05 ...
Followed instructions for the tomtom Go unit and download files, extracted them, and opened the folders OV2 and the other BMP one ... copied all of them and pasted them into the GB folder as had been done with the September 05 data base .... and me the think don’t speak anymore to me
In the grand scheme of things no big deal, I can live with it ... but was more curious than anything else ... with my ability to shuffle from one disaster to another I suspect I'm to blame 8O
Any idea’s as to just what I’ve managed to do wrong this time |

You have probably deleted the data.chk file. Just copy it back to the card again. Or you've managed to turn the Volume down to Zero. _________________ Richard

Did nothing and the voices have started to function again 8O .... I might have done nothing but I'm still taking credit for solving this highly technical sat-nav dilemma |

If you touch the bottom left corner twice in succession you will mute the sound! Did you do this by accident?
First touch brings up the volume slider. Second touch at the same point will move slider to your finger which at the minimum position.
I think the sound may also stop if the battery gets very low. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

And there's me thinking I had stumbled on a technical break through … life can be so unfair at times |
