|
|
Hi all,
I have installed the database and it works fine. When i approach for example a GATSO it flashes and makes a beep at me as it should, but doesn't tell me what the speed limit is for the area.
When i view the POI on my TT300 it shows the cameras (GATSO@40..)
so why doesn't it flash 40mph when i drive past it as it should?
I haven't actually driven past a GATSO yet as only installed last night, but i navigated to the nearest GATSO@40 and viewed the route as a summary (i.e it drives itself along the roads etc) when it drives past the camera it beeps but doesn't say 40MPH as it should??
Any ideas?? |

I think you've probably installed the single file versions?
You need to install the speed zoned versions. |

Thanks for that - I have only got one POI for GATSO's when i view POI.
But when i try to navigate to the nearest one there are a variety of GATSO's in there i.e. GATSO@40, GATSO@30 etc etc.
So they must be there, its just getting the system to warn me.
Or would it still show this even if i had downloaded the single file version??
Thanks |

have a look inside the folder downloaded and u will have a folder in there called speed zoned and inside that one u will have two folders mobile and gatso
ok open the gatso folder and u will see yet another two folders csv files and ov2bmp file,u only need the ov2bmp folder so open this and copy all 16 files into ur map folder,oh u can take the two u have already put in there out,now if u want do the same with the mobile folder
now u just need to set up the warnings btw there isnt one for 20mph so just use the one that says gatso
hope this helps |

If you want to see the speed rather a than a beep and the name of the camera, you have to download the full set of 18 PoIs and the matching .bmp files. Then delete the single file version. You should then see a replica speed limit sign in the corner of the screen as well as being able to set a different sound for each speed.
If you want a voice to say the speed limit, you will have to change the data.chk file to the Pocket GPS one or one of Ray Flanagan's. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
