I'm thinking of getting either a PNY 80x 1GB CF card or a 2.2GB Magicstor microdrive to copy my TTN5 installation to. The PDA is an hx4700. Are there any particular pros/cons to suggest which to go for? The microdrive is £41 from Ebuyer and the CF card is £49. Is it worth paying the extra for a high speed CF card? _________________ Frank |

Go with the CF card, the micro drive will consume more battery power, and the unit you are looking at has a poor quality issue - I nearly bought one four months ago until I did some internet searches - I use 80x CF Lexus cards in the 4700, and they are great - Mike |

I would agree. The Microdrive is also considerably slower, especially for larger route calculations. _________________ Lutz

If it uses more power and it's slower then it looks like the CF card. Thanks for the help - appreciated. _________________ Frank |
