|
|
The subject pretty much says it all....everything works fine but when I exit TT5, I notice that the BT icon in the system tray of my iMate PDA2K is gone....the first time I freaked out and soft reset. Now I have gone through File Explorer and clicked on Run_BTTray and then went back to the Today screen....and there it was again..
anyone know what this is due to? Does TT5 when it exits close the BT application too?
would really like to know about this..would appreciate any input.
TIA.

Kaz, Go to settings, Device Information and on the version tab will be listed the firmware loaded on your device. The latest O2 ROM is 1.40.00WWE - ROM Date 03/10/05 - Radio Version 1.12.00 - Protocol Version 1337.42 - Ext ROM Version 1.40.237 - To download the new ROM you will need to enter the devices IMEI number which is on the Identity tab of the above page - its about 44MB, if you do install it load it up in corporate mode as the personal installs all the O2 active rubish that causes havoc with the device. It much better unit since the ROM ugrade I have been using it for a week now with no lockups (theres a first in its self) - Mike |

actually its not an O2 device...it's an imate PDA2K...and I'm using the 1.40 iMate ROM which they updated in March of 05.....with the 1.12 radio and a 3900 BT stack.....
It's puzzling coz everything's working and it was fine before I installed TomTom...but now, there's some instruction somewhere where when I exit TT, it not only closes the BT but also closes it completely from the system tray....
lately, my BT icon disappears without having used TT at all that day....
I think this might be a bug.....anyone know what causes the BT icon in the system tray to shut down and not be displayed?? For now, I have resolved this by going and manually running the Run_BTTray app to get the BT icon back..... |
