That's irrelevant, this is a discussion about a retail product which no one who has investigated it is impressed with. |
It is not irelevant. If somebody says that he can do better in two minutes, I would like to see some evidence of that.
Your second statement is plain silly, you cannot possibly know that. You are expressing your personal opinion and you haven't even tried a single voice. So much for your investigation.
You last question could be answered by reading the press release. |
I took it to be a press release and discussion about a specific product, not a general discussion about TomTom voices and map schemes.
My second statement was based on the comments posted to date from forum members. I've listened to all the voices, that's more that enough investigation to satisfy me.
I did read the press release but the point was that there are no details on the website; no address, phone number or e-mail address. OK, I was a little unclear in that statement but I'm always wary about purchasing from anonymous sites.
For a moderator you aren't very moderate. |

Sure, here are links to the day and night colour schemes I use on my own installation. It took me longer than 2 minutes to put them together, more like a few weeks of trying testing them out. But I'm resonably happy with result. But even then I don't feel the need to charge for them.

More excellent colour schemes can be found on http://www.colourschemeeditor.com where people have contributed their own schemes for free. |

Thanks, will try them. BTW, you are missing a few tags on your index.php page, such as HTML and HEAD. |

Which voice were you listening to? |
Well now the web site says
Quote: | Celebrity - both real and soundalike |
Did not say that when I visited before, but the voices are still the same.
Under Home page menu on left side, click TomTom Voices - Celebrity
Now try the Navigation Sample, I rest my case. |

There are loads more here now, some are not brilliant but there are some really funny ones and some very rude ones. I have downloaded Naughty Natalie and it is shocking !! I have asked them if I can do a voice for them as I can do a good impression of Jonny Vegas !!! and they have said yes and I will get paid for each one that sells !! please buy the jonny vegas voice when I get it done. I need to get my car serviced !!
p.s does anyone know where to get the protective covers for tomtom ?? thanks _________________ My favourite site of the week ! www.satnavvoices.com |
