Hi everyone. Apologies if this is mentioned elsewhere but out of the many websites available, where can one find the most accurate and up to date POIs? I know that POCKETGPSWORLD has a fantastic and well up to date safetycam database but not sure on where I can find other reliable POIs. |

It depends which POI files you want. I have some at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/oldboy/TomTomPOI/ , mainly Petrol, that I compiled this year.
If you list those you are interested in, someone will know of, or have, some. _________________ Richard

Richard, you are a star and thanks to Sparky as well. I am really looking for POIs that would be generally useful during travel along the lines of the POIs on the Oldboy's site.
Toyota dealers collection was a surprise addition and things like Motorway services, hotels or B&Bs, leisure facilities as well as car parks would be fantastic.
The great thing about Richard's site is that the collections seem to have been updated not a long time ago as opposed to other sites that I found with databases from years ago. I also found that MaFt who works on a collection of POIs for Garmin i3 updates his collection through feedback from other users and I guess I can use his POIs as well after converting the to OV2.
Your recommendations are now in my favorites. :D :D :D |
