Steve,
I got mine from Handnav. Cost was £20 inc VAT and P&P. Theirs was the best price I could find....
If you have an iPAQ, be aware that there's one cable for 3600 & 3700 models and a different one for 3800 & 3900s.

Cheers,
Graham. |

Hi Graham
Thanks for the info re where to get a good deal on the 9532 - (small correction - it is TDC, not TDK whose site I searched fruitlessly for ages!http://www.tdc.co.uk/ )
Best Regards

Hi Ted,
Please excuse me being thick, but I can't see anywhere that I suggest that it is TDK - I use TDC in my post, which is the correct name...
Cheers,
Graham |

Guys, be a little careful about these 9532's. I have it on authority from Leadtek that the reason why TDC have these and Leadtek UK don't, is these 9532's are supposed to be sold in a complete package with Destinator 2 under an agreement with PowerLOC and Leadtek. It would seem that TDC are splitting these packages up and selling the 9532's separately, which I've been told by Leadtek is against the Leadtek/PowerLOC agreement.
If you have problems with these and Leadtek find you've purchased these in this manner, Leadtek could be in their right to turn round to end users and tell them to get these fixed by TDC if you get any problems and not have them fixed under warranty as the contract/agreement is being broken by the end distributor.
The above is what I've been told by Leadtek in a phone conversation last week. Although Leadtek will probably honor these, there's no set guarantee, so if you do have to get these repaired under warranty, you may have a little more hassle than you bargained for if you have to send it back to the manufacturer. |

Dave,
Sorry, but we beg to differ. We are a UK Leadtek distributor, and we buy these devices from Leadtek direct in Taiwan without any software.
We currently do not offer any software with our sensor products, you are free to source or use your own. We have various sensors from Leadtek, Navman as well as other devices. Adaptor cables to serial and USB (drivers are available in the next couple of weeks for USB) are available.
We will be happy to discuss with others who are interested in our products, please email myself or Linda (linda@tdc.co.uk) for more information - or call us on 01256 332800.
Thanks. _________________ G1NTX AFRIN LRPS |

TDC - swift response, perfect price at £74 (excl VAT). 9532 works perfectly - warranty covered by the 'sales of goods act' |

Not seen any mention if the receiver can be connected to a Toshiba e740.
Anyone know if there is a cable connection for this? |

Yes, according to Leadtek you can connect it to an E330 and E740. Just have to try and find the lead. You could try www.widget.com as they stock a whole host of Leadtek leads. |

I need a car powered GPS receiver to work with my xda and TomTom Nav2. I only need the receiver with a cable terminating in an RJ11 plug. Which is best receiver, i understand that the Leadtek 9531 is what is shipped as standard with Nav2 but can't seem to fins anywhere to buy it.
Will the 9532 work? Is it as good? If so, i'm confused by the picing as what is quoted on this thread is not what TDC's online buying system tells me.
Any help appreciated.

The 9532 is the same as a 9531 with a newer SiRF II firmware. Just as good as a 9531.
TDC's website prices are still correct as per this thread. Add the GPS9532 to XDA / car power cable , change shipping charges to UK £50 to £200 and the total comes to £109.99 inc VAT and Delivery! |
