So Version 3 in 2003, Version 5 in 2005, so it should be version 7 in 2007 then! |

who cares when TTN was released. the ONLY update you get will be if you buy the new TTN whenever that happens to be. if there are no map updates then they will release a new TTN anyway with new "features". ttn5 "features" some good things over ttn3. namely a whack load of faults. :D
maybe if they change from teleatlas we might have more joy. who knows.

They really need to fire their market research company!!! Who asked for a new version of the software anyway? We have all been screaming for updated maps for 2 years and what do they do? Ignore us and release a new version!!!!!
Apart from a very small number of new features like seeing road names in nav view . . . what "improvements" have there been? |

i think it's safe to say tomtom don't care about us. we still go and buy it. they will likely never release a map update to be compatible with current versions. i'm not interested in all the "toys" tomtom give us now. i just want my map to be accurate ish. i mean i was 70 miles off when it said you have reached your destination. there was no signs to say otherwise so i assumed i was at my destination. i went into fill up with petrol and then i realised something was wrong when i seen the name on the service station. arghhhhhhh
