Hi shaunokeefe,
Yes, that sounds right.
The version I've installed is "TomTom 5 for Pocket PC"
The installer actually contained two versions "TomTom Go" and "TomTom for Pocket PC" and I just had to select the one I wanted to install.
Good luck
Cheers |

I'm new to all this. What is the advantage of installing TT5 on the Medion 200s? If there is where can you download it?
Thanks to all you knowledgeable chaps out there. |

simply unpack the CAB file with an appropriate tool (even WinZip will do) and copy the EXE and data.chk files over your original install _________________ Lutz

|
|
I have a MD95900, model no. MDPNA 200S.
I am currently running medion software with poi handler installed, thus my task bar is also present.
I have downloaded tom tom 5 for a pda and installed it onto a mmc, did a soft reset but nothing is happening. The screen on soft start flicks black for a second as though something might happen but it may just be a standard start up.
I tried it on a mates pda and it booted into tom tom no probs on the same mmc so its not the software.
Have you guys any idea why its not working?
maybe it only works on the 200 not the 200s.
Do I need to install any dll's that I haven't realised?
so near, so far, its infuriating! |

When I installed TomTom I selected the default destination - so that the TomTom executable is on the internal memory - and then I installed the maps on to the mmc. |

Yes, it's illegal software. Please don't ask for assistance on these forums. |

Yes, of course you are right and I meant to say that I had obtained this software through legitimate means, apologies. |
