Hello folks.
I have TT5 on my PPC and i dont use it a lot. However when i do i need it quickly and stable. Now the ppc sits in the car for the meantime and over a few days the ppc battery goes flat. I loose all my programs etc etc. Now tt5 is on the card but the main programs arnt. Can i install these on the CD card without any problems? or is it possible to install it on the "safe store" thing of the ipaq? but i think the files are too large.
ideas? |

Hi AndyBrad,
Lutz (lbendlin) is the expert on moving TomTom Navigator to the storage card. I prefer a more standard installation mainly for the ease of upgrading.
I use Sprite Backup on all of my PPCs. It will backup your PPC to the storage card, by creating a self-executable backup file. If your PPC loses all power, just connect to a power supply, run through the initialisation set up, and then run the restore file.

Andy,
I asked this question a few months ago & yes you can move everything over to your card (except for a few minor files)
I haven't got the link to the thread but if you doa search you should find it.
