Hi, hope someone can help!! The speaker on my H3970 has just ceased working though if I plug an ear piece into the ear socket everything is ok. my question is.......... Does amyone know who could fix this quickly, and how much? or is there such a thing as an amplified speaker that I could attach via the ear piece socket?? HELP!!! |

This could be caused by a stcuk headphone connector. When a headphone plug is inserted it disables the speaker. Sometimes this 'sticks' so that when the headphones are removed the speakewr is still disabled.
Try inserting headphones and 'jiggling' the plug a few times. If that fails then:

What you could do is run a battery powered 'active' speaker from something like a portable CD player plugged into the earphone socket, and use this as an amplified speaker system. This is a set-up that I use anyway and works very well.

Hi Darren "jiggling" didn't work!!! But the website proved VERY useful!! My H3970 was wrapped and sent this AM. Thanks for all your help! Dave. |
