Hi all,
Had my i3 for about a week now and its great.
I have download and installed the POI zip from MaFt onto my i3. Thanks. I Also added to MaFt's list some caravan parks POI's. However for some reason I am unable to search using the SPELL. this doesn't just happen on my added list, but also on the POI from MaFt's list too. The POI are shown in the CUSTOM POINTS on the i3.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks Allan |

Yes. I've found the same. Have alerted Garmin but await their reasoned response. Thie initial reply was tell me what SHOULD happen.
Might be an idea if you emailed them as well.
They are generally very good at responding to customer feedback |

i have found that any poi's located in the custom points folder and loaded using the 'poi loader' can not be found using the spell method, but poi's/waypoints loaded using mapsource (which go in the favorites folder) can be ..so if you want to use the spell method then you need to load up using mapsource. _________________ *************************** |

Careful, AFAIK Worldmap is still a commerical product, and advertising piracy on a forum Garmin probably monitor isn't wise! |
