Well... it seems that 5.10 is just a fix for people that have even worse problems with TTN5 (crashes, hangs, etc).
I opened a new topic called TTN5 WishList, hoping that it may serve to join all our requests to be considered on an eventual version 5.20 of TTN5.
Anyhow, if only Tomtom people read the PGPS forums...
Like I said, I will go back to TTN3 (without holding my breath...) |

Since starting this thread some time ago I have downgraded back to TT3 and realise how much more flexible it is than TT5 oh and a lot more stable. I seem also to find myself using the memorise position function quite often - something else thats gone from TT5.
I upgraded TT5 which seemed to make no difference. Still a very unstable application.
I can't really believe TT want to commit comercial suicide knowingly do they?

I also downgraded to TTN3 and despite the fact that I now have outdated maps... I'm much happier
Does anyone have an idea about TomTom having in its plans to release an update to TTN5 that may bring back what they have taken from us with TTN5... ? |

One big advantage of 5.10 is the possibility of planning itineraries offline and saving them (see Lutz's list of bugs in the stickies, and the workaround for itinerary planning). This was one of my biggest gripes in TT5, and is no longer a problem
