I'd like to change the colour scheme on the night more of my TomTom go.
I had a look on the tom tom and i can see the files for colour schemes I have downloaded and when i view them in note pad they seem pretty straight forward to edit with the RGB, example -
016,016,032 // background - black
Is there a guide to writing these files I had a search but I can't find anythign |

Better than that, there is at least one editor program for colour schemes. Have a look Here |

Can anyone suggest a scheme that has high contrast but doesn't use red colours except for the planned route?
Most of the schemes I've tried seem to use red colours for other roads too (perhaps the main route is in crimson) , which when you might have a fraction of a second to glance at the map, can lead to errors in following the route.
For that matter is there a way of making the planned route flash so it stands out even more?
Otherwise I guess I can try and create my own scheme (and if I wasn't so lazy/busy I would already had a try!) |

If you drop me an email I'll do you a scheme without the red route - tell me what colour you want. I designed the GBnew Scheme. _________________ Life's a bitch... then I met Jane... |

I've had a play around myself and come up with a new scheme. It needs a bit of testing but the aim is to make the route to be followed as clear as possible.
Give it a try and let me know if it can be improved.
