Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked and answered. New to the forum, trawled through the messages and couldn't find an answer.
I use TTN5 on my palm powered TREO 650. Works fine. I bought the TTN5 Maps of Europe, and have installed several, no problems.
My problem is that I can't find the 'major roads of Europe' as is claimed by TomTom. Tomorrow I am off to Germany, I have the German map but will need to find my own way to the Belgian/German border!
When I put in my European CDs, I get the choice of country to install but no major roads option. Any help?
Cheers
Paul
P.S. any help getting the Darth Vader and Yoda voices, as the links don't seem to work! |

Yea, you need to select the Plus version when installing any country. |

Use the 'Germany Plus' map off the CD, rather than the 'Germany' map and you'll find that it contains detailed maps Germany (as you'd expect) plus the Major roads of the rest of Europe.
There is no separate MRE map - the Plus maps contain this information. So you need to have one Plus map, and as many other non-plus maps as you want and can fit on your card.
Have a good trip to Germany.

Thanks guys, didn't realise the difference between the normal and the plus versions.
Put in the Benelux plus and it works fine!
Thanks a million!

Might be wrong, but I thought the only difference between plus & non-plus maps was the addition of MRE?

I thought that's what he said. _________________ Richard

The post implied "more detailed maps of germany" when none exist.
I wanted to clarify the situation.

No implication intended in my post (and I can't see one) that the level of detail for Germany is any different between 'Germany' and 'Germany Plus' maps.

My UK Plus map is slightly newer than the standard version, but I have noticed any practical differences in places I have been. |
