But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hi Everyone, Just a quick question, I have a iPAQrz1710, with ViaMitchelin, I downloaded the speed camera database, using POI Manager and Mapstore, and all is running ok. My question is, How do I update the database, do I download the new database as before, and the new one updates the old one, or do I have to delete the old one, from the iPAQ, then download the new one. If I do an Active Sync, will it also update the database on the Mapstore maps on my PC. Thanks for any advice. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav
Can't speak definitively for the Windows CE platform but on the Palm you simply download the databases add them through POI Manager and Sync, they automatically overwrite the old files
I run the same system as you and have just updated September's files. Just download and unzip the database, open the POI Manager, locate the ASC files and it will all come naturally after that. Remember to link your GATSO ASC files to your POI icon for GATSOs, etc. It asks during the process if you want to update your PDA so I am presuming that it updates your PC first then asks if you want to update your PDA.
By the way, I'd like to thank elan2s for hanging around in this forum dispensing advice. He/she is very helpful to all of us newbies!
