I am thinking about purchasing a i3 and am wondering if it is similar to the TOMTOM which has multiple POI files so that you can have certain POI files turned on for audio anouncment and others turned off. IF the i3 only has one PIO file this would mean that audio anouncments would be all on or all off so for example you would have audio aniuncements for the local Macdonnalds as well as speed camera information. |

you can have multiple POI files. when you upload them to the i3 you can do manual mode or auto mode - manual is better as for each file you can select whether you want proximity alerts (at a certain speed or at certain distance).
hope this helps

Thanks for that MaFt, I have downloaded a user manual but I found no mention of POI's at all, Does the i3 come with a PDF file user manual that covers this ? and if so do you know where I could download it ? I hope the i3 has a better manual that the one I downloaded. |
