I am sure that this is a simple matter but I cannot delete any destinations I no longer require and the list is growing ever longer!
If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Thewre is no way to delete individual destinations.
When the list gets to 24 the oldest will fall off the end.
If you really need to delete the list completely, you have to remove the .cfg file, found in the Map Folder.
Be aware that this also removes your settings and preferences. _________________ Richard

Thanks for your response.
As they only reach 24 I can live with that.
I certainly don't want to lose my settings and preferences.

I was advised to try this:
Delete the .cfg file - when TomTom runs, it will create a new file.
Configure TomTom and make any changes you wish then copy the .cfg file to a safe place on your SD card.
You can continue to use TomTom as normal now and when you want to clear your previous destinations, close TomTom and copy the .cfg file back into the Maps folder.
This will overwrite the current .cfg file and remove the previous destinations.
Just remember to create a backup of the .cfg file if you make any major changes to your TomTom configuration. |

Hi, actually there is a little prog (in german, but very intuitive) is called TomTomFavouriteEditor it's only 215K. It can delete any/all your visited places. Can't remember where I DL from but if someone wants it send me a PM with the email and I'll sent it to you. |
