I just got c310 from amazon at £289. I think this good value compared to i3. for another £90 you get bigger/better screen. It also a touch screen and comes with built-in lithium battery. I'm very pleased with it. |

Yes it may be more expensive than the i3 at the moment, but not for long, when the prices go up. Also, I personally agree that the extra expenditure on the C310 would be worth it for me. But, everyone to their own. I respect those that have bought the i3, and I agree that it is a bargain at the current prices. |

where does it say the price is going to rise? - Maplin gave the impression it was a introductory price - but the DSG companys dixons, pc world etc reckon its £199 for good.... |

I think the RRP is supposed to be £299, and the i2 £239. That's what price the i2 still is, which suggests that it's not the normal price for the i3. I think DSG are just competing at the moment. We shall see... |

I've now had this for a week. I've not yet found a single fault with this unit. It is very very use easy to use especially with the touch screen - even the kids love it. I would not consider a GPS product without a touch screen.
There is very little difference between this and the c330 which is selling at over £450. Hence why I think it is value for money.
Only weeks ago you could not get a unit with similar quality and features as c310 for under £500.
I agree c310 is more expensive than i3 but you get what you pay for. |
