Confused

Hi, I have just bought a Navman 520 and am beginning to wonder if I have nade the right choice after reading some of the comments in this forum. Is it any good? I only want it (like most people probably) to get from A to B with the least agravation. Is it slow? and how slow is slow anyway?

Any comment gratefully received.

Rolling Eyes

Thanks

Brian

I have got a navman 610 which is fine for everyday use. I have just got back from Europe using a borrowed 510 and was extremely pleased with it. I liked the 3D maps and the touch screen makes easy to enter destinations. glare on the screen was a very minor problem.

Hi
I have a 510, I have had it since March. I do about 1200, to 1700 miles a week.
Apart form the known issues with the unit, ie large SD cards and a few bugs. It’s great.
Used it on our French touring Holiday this summer and could not fault it.
I don’t find it slow. It holds its own against my PDA. I have also used a Digi Walker 289.
I am looking at purchasing SmartST 2005 software for my 510. I have just read the report on the 520 which answered some of my questions.
To sum it up for myself the amount of money you spend I think you get good value.
Regards.
