I've been testing TomTom v5.00.
Is there anyway of clearing the previous addresses and locations you have navigated to.
When looking through the various menus, I cannot find any way of clearing the history. At this rate, there will be a large amount of "old locations" appearing in TTN.
I want to avoid having to do a Hard-Reset.
Any ideas? |

Hi there
I believe that tomtom navigator stores approx 24 last destinations. After this, the oldest one will get overwritten. There is no way of deleting the list manually bar reinstalling tomtom (a bit excessive) 8O |

Yes there is a way to clear all recent destinations and be able to do it over and over again. The reason why someone wants to is up to them.
Here is the way:
Go to the map folder and delete the .cfg file there
TTN5 generates a new .cfg file. This now means you have to do all your preferences again. When you have done this copy this new .cfg file to a safe place on the Memory Card.
Now whenever you want to 'Clean' all you have to do is copy the .cfg that you have saved back to the Map Folder and you have all the recent destinations cleared.
You do not need to uninstall and reinstall TTN5 to do this.
Just be careful about copying the file to PC and back again as sometimes it gets marked as read only and so will not log anything in it when you exit TTN5
