Hi. I am about to purchase an Acer N35 PDA System. The problem is the Software is naff. I have Tom Tom 5 on CD.
Question is how do i get the contents of the Cd onto an SD Card. ie. What connections do i need to my PC to allow me to do the Transfer. I have a 512 SD Card already but will i get any connections with my PDA..?
P.S. Sorry if this Post bores..But i'm new to all this..
Thanks.

install active sync on your PC.
Connect your Acer PPC, then run setup form the tom tom cd, and it will install it all for you.
you can use the Sd card to store maps, poi etc |

If you have a card reader, install the TT as per the previous post i.e active sync, but when you get to the install map(s) chose advanced or alternate location (sorry can't remember the exact terms) and select the SD card in the reader - the transfer is far faster a couple of min vs half an hour plus - Mike |
