I have a Navman PiN 570 with the camera database pre-loaded by the supplier. The camera Icons are on the map and it works perfectly.
When I go into the POI Editor it says “No customer POI files loaded”.
If I download the new database and install it, it puts a second set under ‘Active’ POI’s and this set appears in the POI Editor. Deleting it does not affect the operation of the original set. I am now wondering where the original files are stored and how I update the camera database.
Can you help?

I'm trying to get a loan of my neighbour's 570 to have a look. Can you explore both main memory and SD card for a directory called MyPOI and tell me what is in them? _________________ Tim |

Dear Tim,
Thankyou for your quick response.
The files on the SD card in My POI are as follows.
Continen, Gatso, Mobile, Redlight, Specs, Temp, each with the following extensions
.bm .chk .ini .map
The files I downloaded in the camera database have the extensions .csv and .bmp
There are no files on the device in My POI. |

You need to transfer the new files using POIEditor, not by direct copy. Make sure you use the correct .csv files and edit them using [color=red]Notepad[/color} before trying to transfer them. _________________ Tim |
