|
|
I have just bought the GPSlim236 to go with my Ipaq 2210, and I was wondering what Routing Software (US) to run on it. I've read about CoPilot, and Pharos Ostia. What about Microsoft's Streets & Trips does even provide Pocket PC live GPS data locations.
Thanks |

Thanks! And, I'm sorry I didn't see the "compareomatic" before I posted.
Each of the software listed seem to be in the $200 plus range, quite an out lay of cash, so making a careful descision is vital. And, it looks like you need to download maps of the areas you'll be travelling, yes? Do they charge for map downloads?
I'm setting this up for my wife, who gets lost, err, I mean makes incorrect turns (always my fault) in route to events and such. We are also in Texas, living in San Antonio, but she travels to Dallas, and Houston. Do you have a recommendation on software that would be easy for her to use? In particular one that would be able to re-route after a missed turn.
Thanks! |

Rerouting after a missed turn is a standard feature - all packages do that.
If she wants something easy to use she should go with Intellinav Iguidance.
If it should be more fancy and matching her purse color then choose TomTom. _________________ Lutz
